Barbara Tapscott is currently the President of BMT Consulting Corp and is leading the healthcare consulting resource firm with experience in project management, revenue cycle assessment and strategy development, systems integration, business analytics, denials management (identification and prevention), and optimizing revenue cycle technology. Her laser focus is on reducing cost-to-collect with process standardization while improving revenue cycle quality and key performance indicators.

Most recently Ms. Tapscott was Vice President of Revenue Management for Geisinger Health in Danville, Pennsylvania where she managed end-to-end revenue cycle for Geisinger Pennsylvania hospitals and physician group practices. During her tenure at Geisinger, Ms. Tapscott and her team earned the HFMA MAP Award for Excellence in Revenue Cycle Management for eleven (11) consecutive years. Ms. Tapscott holds a Master Certificate in Project Management with a concentration in Healthcare from Villanova University and is HFMA (CHFP) and AAHAM (CRCE-I) certified.
